I know that many soldiers believe in what they are fighting for!
I know that there are many brave and heroic people!
That is not the point at all!!!!!
They point is that people still believe the propaganda that the war can benifit anybody!
That the war is for any sort of noble reason like freedom!
War is only about power.
We, in the "western" civilisation, only have the freedom to buy and consume.
Our ways of thought have been so heavily processed that we believe that we are free.
The only people who are free are the ones who's names you never see in the normal press!!!
The politicians don't really influence anything important. They just do the cosmetics.
That about this being only a bike forum did not come from me.
What I reacted to was the presumption that there is only one way to look at things!!!!!
That someone's "Way of Life" can and should apply to any other culture is completely wrong.
Thank you for an intelligent answer to my objections. That didn't happen before.
I am always willing to discuss anything, but I don't find that throwing insults around constitutes a discussion.
